Description
ITConnect is looking for an IT Technician to work on client sites — network setup, equipment installation and technical support on the ground. Salary is set according to experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Network cabling, diagnostics and rack setup
- Installation and setup of computer and network equipment
- Router, Switch and Firewall — configuration and support
- Keeping server rooms organised and under technical control
- Installation of cameras, recorders and monitoring sensors
- Audio/video systems in conference spaces
- Client site visits and ticket handling in the Helpdesk system
- Coordination with internet providers and response to critical alerts
Requirements
- Education in IT or network technologies
- Experience as an IT technician, network administrator or in technical support
- Practical knowledge of network infrastructure: cabling, racks, patch panels
- Router, Switch and Firewall — configuration and diagnostics
- Fluent Georgian; English for technical documentation
- Video surveillance and audio/video systems — an advantage
