Junior Web Developer

Description

ITConnect is looking for a Junior Web Developer who will report to our Full Stack developer and work alongside them on a range of client projects — websites, web applications and mobile applications.

The role suits someone who already has the fundamentals and wants to learn on real projects. Your code gets reviewed regularly, and you take on independence as you go.

Responsibilities

• Building website and web application interfaces
• Delivering tasks set by the Full Stack developer and submitting your code for review
• Maintaining existing projects — fixing defects and making improvements
• Integrating with REST APIs
• Using AI tools while writing and testing code
• Documenting tasks and completed work

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Basic experience with React or Next.js — study projects count
• Working knowledge of Git
• Understanding of how REST APIs work
• Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• English for reading technical documentation
• A portfolio or GitHub profile — study projects are fine
